Job: SFP test and validation

Required Skills –

• 3+ (Max 5) years of industry experience in Optical Networking equipment testing
  and qualification
•  Good Knowledge in working with the different types of SONET/SDH,DWDM and Ethernet
  over Fiber systems.
•  Working Knowledge in Xenpak, X2, XFP, SFP, SFP+,
•  Expert knowledge of Test & Measurement Equipment used in the test of optical
  components and transceivers such as BERTs, Oscilloscopes, Digital Communication
  Analyzers, RF/Optical Spectrum Analysers, TDR and Network Analyzers etc.
•  Experience in test methodologies involving test parameters and equipment set up etc.
• Experience in design validation tests of optical transceiver modules of of
  different data rates and wavelengths.

Desired Skills –

• Performed product failure analysis down to component level to find the root
  causes on the failures from reliability tests and returns from customers.
• Knowledge in CFP or parallel optical transceivers at 10+ Gbps serial data rates
• Experience in performing Electromagnetic interference (EMI), Electrostatic
  discharge (ESD), electrical crosstalk for receiver, power supply noise injection,
  receiver overload, receiver stressed sensitivity, and other tests to ensure the
  product meets SFF-8431, IEEE 802.3 and FC standard requirements for Small Form
  Factor Pluggable plus( SFP) and Small Form Factor Pluggable plus (SFP+) optical
  transceivers
