Job Information

Job Summary:

Part of a team delivering project solutions in a legacy client network and also for a new Cisco voice infrastructure.
Needs to demonstrate the ability to produce quality deliverables in a high pressure environment with the ability to work both within a team environment and as an individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  •  Gather information to understand scope of project, and produce clear definition of technical deliverables with accurate estimates.
  • Suggest appropriate options and recommend a chosen solution, including associated tasks (test strategies, etc) which meet operational standards
  • Produce technical and support documentation to the required standard

 

Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in sister teams.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project and programme managers.
  • Effectively participate in project and technical meetings.

Team Working

  •  Actively participate in team meetings, sharing information on new technologies, tools, projects that would be beneficial to others.
  • Provide support and direction to other team members.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and other technical areas in support of common goals and initiatives.
  • Mentor colleagues on new VoIP technology.

Planning

  •  Assist in project planning by providing accurate estimates, continually reviewing forecasts and liaising with project managers to keep resource allocations accurate Monitoring and Control
  • Produce regular highlight reports detailing progress / key issues on each project as required
  • Raise issues and risks in a timely manner to the project manager
  • Provide mentoring & coaching to junior staff members.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  •  5 + years experience working in a technical discipline role within a large IT environment, preferably within a financial organisation.
  • 3 + years experience in design and implementation of call centre design and delivery, preferably Cisco & Aspect.
  • 3 + years experience in design and delivery of voice recording solutions, preferably Verint.
  • 3 + years experience in design and delivery of NCTI and ICM scripts
  • Proven ability to plan and execute workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables in a high pressure environment
  • Understanding of full project lifecycle.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure both within a team environment and as an individual.
  •  Experience of transforming from legacy TDM telephony to IP technologies.
